Google Launches Dart – a JavaScript Alternative
The search giant Google revealed details of Dart, in a keynote presentation at the 2011 GoTo Conference in Denmark on Oct 10th. Programmer and project leader Lars Bak detailed the project in a talk at the conference.

Dart is a novel structured Web programming language tailored to make programming for the Web easier.Google hopes that Dart will assist Web application programmers overcome shortcomings of JavaScript that Google itself feels intensely.
Bark stated that Dart is geared for everything from diminutive, unstructured projects to large, complex efforts. Additionally, he said that if they need to focus on making the Web better over time, they need to innovate, along with new programming languages.
Google also revealed a Dart language site that comprises of open-source tools for writing Dart programs, code samples, tutorials, libraries of supporting software, the Dart language specification as well as forums for discussion.
