So do you think increasing global temperatures are causing a broad range of changes? Is it true that sea levels are rising due to thermal expansion of the ocean, in addition to the melting of land ice???????????? Question

Yes I do think. There are hell a lot of changes in the climate, atmosphere and all the spheres possible. All these end up ultimately affecting our place of living. Yes, even a kindergarten student will know that there are sea levels rising. Not just that. Amounts and patterns of precipitation are changing. The total annual power of hurricanes has already increased markedly since 1975 because their average intensity and average duration have increased. What is happening? Where will our generation in 2050 be??? Floating????

LOL! Might be!! At this range of polluting our planet, we are sure to face lot of trouble in years to come. For instance, changes in temperature and precipitation patterns increase the frequency, duration and intensity of other extreme weather events, such as floods, droughts, heat waves, and tornadoes. So whom to be blamed? Government? Or individuals like us?

Even though there are so many people or groups working on this issue, nothing can be done. Groups like Greenpeace are working hard campaigning and lobbing to bring changes. It is we individuals who need to do something. Wink

Sorry if I’m contradictory… I don’t believe in organizations working for a cause... usually they end up shouting and howling except for doing some solid n rigid stuff that really helps the crowd.. there are a few organizations that REALLY work… okays… lets cut it.. Individuals will have to think about it and yes, committed individuals can make a difference...
