what is the difference between white hat and black hat?
is it in any technical work?

hey greenrose.. it has nothing to do with technical part.. here is your explanation

White hat seo is where you obey the search engine rules and do not use manipulative methods which would be against their TOS. Basically original content and natural links would be white hat.

Black hat is where you disobey any rules which will be productive to your temporary search engine success. Black hats will use any means at their disposal to gain rankings and because of that they tend to get caught after a while. That is why most good black hats recycle domains frequently and keep restarting new ones to keep the money flowing.

The upside to white hat is long-term continued success. The up-side to black hat is short-term and perhaps faster success but which is limited. Black hat also takes some experience or you will get caught and banned before you make a dime

Black Hat SEO refers to the use of aggressive SEO strategies, techniques and tactics that focus only on search engines and not a human audience, and usually does not obey search engines rules. For example, keyword stuffing, invisible text and doorway pages.

White Hat SEO refers to the usage of SEO strategies, techniques and tactics that focus on a human audience opposed to search engines and completely follows search engine rules and policies. For example, a Web site that is SEO optimized, yet focuses on relevancy and organic ranking is considered to be optimized using White Hat SEO practices.

Black Hat SEO uses unethical ways in order to get back links. It doesn't follow rules and regulations. Door-way pages, improper redirects, spamming, keyword stuffing and hidden text are just some of the techniques that falls under black hat.

but it is complete legal process .

The main differences is that white Hat SEO is Proper and appropriate Keyword Stuffing, Meta tags, header tags, relevant alt image tags ,tittle tags, use of proper anchor text, Link Building, Directory Submission & Black Hat SEO is Spamming on discussion forums, irrelevant Blog commenting, too much keyword stuffing, distributing Virus/Worms or promoting infected sites.

As for me, black hat means unethical techniques of SEO(Sometime your site may be penalize by Google). I am always prefer white hat rather than black hat!

Black hat is all the sneaky strategies to trick the search engines.
Blackhat will not survive for long term, as search engines update their softwares often and will penalize you and ban you for life.

The Main Difference is

- White Hat Techniques are ethical and Black Hat Techniques are not.
- Black Hat Techniques are probably illegal and slight chance that White Hat techniques are illegal too!
- White hat is all that is allowed by the search engines and Black hat is all the sneaky strategies to trick the search engines.

The biggest difference is -
1. The techniques are white hat techniques and white hat ethical are not.
2. Black Hat techniques are illegal and probably very unlikely that a white hat techniques are illegal, too!
3. White Hat is made possible by search engines, and black hat are all a cunning strategy to fool search engines.
