General question re regarding Content of website.

Hi everyone,
I am Richard Smith, new member to this forum. I have a special interest in Internet and SEO related issue. I want to make my website as SEO friendly also I have also some valuable and interesting content related to my site. Can anyone suggest me how should I structure my content so that it will be a SEO friendly website ???

Here I would like to add few valuable points regarding how to use good quality of contents for better ranking in search engine.
1- Create content with quality and length
2- Work with a CMS that creates pages that validate
3-Ensure good structure in what you present
4- Use key word rich article writing - but don't overdo it
5- Get links from others
6- Use Bold for Emphasis
7-Use Italics for quotes - or "Blockquotes" in blogs to separate your writing from things you quote
8-Link to articles in social media - e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Digg and StumbleUpon
