There are mainly two types of SEO:

1. In the optimization of the page
2. Off page optimization
On page : He worked in the meta tags and errors.
Off page : some tools and methods used to increase the ranking and site traffic.

If ask two type of SEO i may think of onsite SEO and offsite SEO .
But seem the correct answer is black hat seo and wihte hat seo , it still left out grey hat seo.

Here are some reason for don't use black hat SEO. Black hat is a spamming method to promote web site in search engine and Google is not friendly with this method. This method is against Google rules and regulation. So, don't do this method and always go with white hate SEO method.

White hat and black hat SEO are two different types of SEO. Google does not consider black hat SEO. Black hat SEO techniques might have some short term positive effect, the long term implications can be disastrous for your website and in turn your business. So don't try black hat SEO.
