Need advice on getting high on search engine

Hello I was hoping someone could adivise me on a good "how to" for getting high search engine rankings. Also does anyone know of a good reputable service to submit my site to for search engines and links? Preferably nothing too expensive.

Get a lot of backlinks. But the pages linked to you shall be similar to your site, or their pr is higher than yours. Then you will get high ranking in google.

2. Keep content original and fresh on your website
3. Use all promotional tools like blogs, PRs and articles
4. Participate in forums and take opinion from people about your site
5. Trust yourself and be patient

yea, Backlinks are must for getting a good rank in SE. so, for this you should try to submit your site some directories and if you can invest some money then you should buy links from high PR sites... Cool

there are 100s of SEO companies out there who can satisfy your needs . Just do some research I am sure you will find a good SEO company.
