Using invisible text

A lot of web masters try to put invisible text on their web pages by making the text color same as the background color. Almost all search engines can easily detect this and the next time you submit a web page for your website, it will straight away go to the dumpster without ever being crawled or looked at by a human (You get the idea).
Check
Repeating keywords

Lots of webmasters repeat certain keywords all over the page especially concentrating at the bottom of the page in very small fonts. Again try this only if you want to get banned from the search engines.

Check
Using unrelated keywords

If you site is about selling shoes, then over flooding your web page with references to
Britney Spear will not help you. Lets say it gets you #1 rank on Google for keyword
"Britney Spears". If someone is looking for information about Britney Spears, and
they land up on your website, do you think they will buy shoes? The answer is
probably no. I have no idea why someone would do this! Doing this not only
increases your chances of getting banned by search engines, but if you ever
do get listed using irrelevant keywords, you are not targeting your customer base.

Check
Linking using link farms

This means interconnecting all your pages to give the effect of a lot of information
being available on the web site. When a search engine crawls through your website,
it creates a history of your site better than you could imagine. It knows exactly
how many pages you actually have. How many link are there just to fool the search
engine crawler, and a lot of other such information.

Check
Over submitting web pages

Lots of webmasters repeat certain keywords all over the page especially concentrating
at the bottom of the page in very small fonts. Again try this only if you want to get
banned from the search engines.

Check
Conclusion

What some web masters fail to understand is that compared to the 30 minutes to an
hour they spend trying to fool the search engines, the search engines are spending
countless hours and hundreds of dollars to stay ahead of the game.

I agree with you invisible text are bad for search engines. Search engine algorithms are now effective in detecting hidden spam. I hardly see a site using hidden text now. please show some sites which still use hidden text to rank high in search engines.
