I want to know about the Google bombing.

It's a very simple technique. It is for to create a odd result for example.

1: pick on someone name - eg George Bush

2: find a nice description for them eg - idiot

3: Write an article in your blog about George bush, point a link to his website and give the link the anchor text for "idiot" alone.

4: get all your mates to do the same, they get all their mates to do the same,etc

5: type idiot in google and guess who comes out top!

6: and should say this doesn't work anymore so don't bother trying as google have adjusted their algo.

A new way for Google bombing is to append the phrase you wish to bomb with the the target URL by using the '#' or '?' operators.

Let's say that you were trying to Google bomb this web page with the phrase or word "SEO dorks".

You would build your Google bomb like this:

A Google bomb (also referred to as a 'link bomb') is Internet slang for a certain kind of attempt to influence the ranking of a given page in results returned by the Google search engine, often with humorous or political intentions.[1] Because of the way that Google's algorithm works, a page will be ranked higher if the sites that link to that page use consistent anchor text.
