AN UGLY THING TOOK PLACE IN IPL CONTEST AND DON'T YOU FEEL THAT IPL IS DESTROYING THE TEAM SPIRIT AND UNITY
This IPL is started for fun and enjoyment but it is going serious. The players from same team and one player slaps other one. Today not only Indian team but the world cricket is ashamed of this controversy.
Cricket - IPL - began, we thought it will be a good summer vacation with two months of fun, frolic and off course lots of cricket.It began with all that it had promised - glamor and glitz, all the way. But just then, an ugly incident spoiled the spirit of the game and contest - Harbhajan Singh slapped Sreesanth. Hot headed Harbhajan Singh, who was leading Mumbai Indians and had already lost two games earlier, couldn't take Sreesanth, his junior, telling him luck wasn't his side this time again. Then, we saw Sreesanth crying inconsolable like a child on national television.
There was action, drama and emotion. It was all happening out there in the ground - stuff that a perfect potboiler is made of. And, then we got to know that the 'brothers' have patched up. Does it remind you of a masala Hindi movie? After all the melodrama, complaints were registered and Bhajji was questioned for his act. He may be banned for a number of games or may be for life. In the midst of all the chaos, nobody thought of cricket. It was a sad day in the history of Indian cricket with cricketers fighting amongst themselves. Is it related to the decreasing tolerance level among people in general?
Today this is happened in Indian team and surely it will happen with other team also. IPL is just gambling contest and obliterating the the cricket spirit. |
