Domain: Old, but not hosted .net or a new 10 yr registered

Post by Will C »

I have a dilemma. I am about to put up another 20 sites. I can either use one of my old domains from 2001, but hasnt been hosted at all, most are .net

OR

I can pick up a new domains, register them ten years, and be good to go. Just wondering what everyone thinks. Will the aged domain give me the boost I need or should I just stick with the new domain and 301 the old domains to the new one?

What does everyone think?

If all your websites are quality websites adding value to users it doesnt matter whether its a old domain or new domain. Anyway inception date is the one that matters with search engines. if a domain is indexed about 4 years back in google I would prefer that over the new domain.
