Google Fast Flip will bring about revenue for publishers and reproduces the magazine reading experience online.Revenue collected from the ads(see picture) appearing alongside the article will be split between Google and the relevant publisher, with content providers taking the major part of the revenue.
Josh Cohen, a business product manager at Google, stated that Fast Flip, will collect content from numerous US websites, newspapers and magazines that have opted in to the service, including the New York Times, the Washington Post and Newsweek. Cohen mentioned that this latest news website was one of numerous different experiments Google was working on with publishers to increase the online audience, engage readers more deeply, and make more money for all parties.
