“This past weekend the adCenter team upgraded the user interface to add some features to make it easier for customers to manage their adCenter campaigns. In our last post, we covered campaign management changes; today I wanted to share changes to the reporting section of adCenter.
When you visit the Report Center, you’ll see a list of your most recent 20 reports along with an auto-updated status column so you can keep tabs as reports are created and know as soon as they’re ready.
We’ve simplified the report creation process to make it easier to create and customize reports to help you keep a close eye on your performance and adjust your campaigns as needed. We’ve also made changes to available date range changes to include:
New options, including “today”, as requested by customers.
The date range now defaults to “last month”, or choose a different time period from the drop-down.

The report display page includes 2 enhancements to help you when viewing your data:
Mouse over column headings in your report tables to view additional information.
Longer bits of text-such as destination URLs-are now abbreviated in the display to allow for easier scanning. To view the full text, mouse over the text.”

Best PPC Advertising now – best paying company

Currently there are a lot of PPC companies which allow Ad publishing and pay out based on clicks generated from Ad publishing. Everyone knows that Google is one company you can believe and rely on. There programme Adsense has been a hit for a long time. Though lot of companies have come up recently still Adsense is unmoved from its current position. This is because they had been very genuine in their business.

Some times Adsense payouts are very less but mostly Search Engines pay out less because of potential fradulent clicks.

SO I recommend if you are a new Ad publishing without any experience with any Ad publishing company one company I recommend to believe is Google.

Believe Google and I am sure you will get what you are looking for

Repeated violation results in permanent suspension

These are rare cases but there are accounts in AdWords that gets suspended permanently for violation of Quality guidelines. A webmaster in webmasterworld reported that is site has permanently suspended due to repeated violation of guidelines.

webmasterworld.com/google_adwords/3635680.htms

In the above thread robin ponty says that his site has been suspended permanently. His site is an escort site. Escort sites are subject to strong review and its important to check the site with Google quality guidelines if once the site has been suspended. Here Robin points out that he continued to make the mistake of continuing with the account ever after repeated temporary suspension. He agrees that his site did violate quality guidelines due to some photos that are against Google AdWords quality guidelines. I recommend if you are facing similar problems make sure you read the quality guidelines and act according to it.

Yahoo now the great lord of truth

Yahoo has now added a new feature in Yahoo Search Marketing . They are now showing status of Click Filters. Click filter is a new feature where yahoo shows the status of Fraudelent clicks and the money refunded because it. This is a great new feature and possibly a by product of the merger of Click Forencics and Yahoo Search.

Recently Yahoo tied up hands with Click Forencics a company who has been loud on fighting click fraud.

Before joining hand with Click Forensics Yahoo said its click fraud rate was around 12 to 15% and most of these funds are returned to the advertisers. Google Claimed click fraud rate in their sponsored results are only in single digits.

Now Yahoo have a good reporting system where they show the status of click fraud in search results inside the Yahoo search marketing control panel and return the funds to advertisers who suffer from click fraud.

The report can be customized with the following data:

  • Impressions
  • Clicks
  • Invalid Clicks
  • Invalid Click Rate
  • Click-through Rate (CTR)
  • Cost
  • Average Cost-per-Click

Great job Yahoo we wish to see more of such features in future.

Quality Score Factors answer by Adcenter REP

When I was going through webmaster world forum I saw an interesting question being raised,

Great White Shark asks

Can anyone please verify that if you have even one keyword or ad with a bad
quality score your account quality score can be damaged? Apparently, this info
came from someone that works at Microsoft.

Now we have a Adcenter Representive for solving problems and answering questions about Microsoft Adcenter PPC program,

adCenterRep Replies

” Today, we do not have a quality score that is available to customers in
the UI. However, we do evaluate the quality of queries to ads to landing pages.
Advertisers should work to ensure that there is an overall high-quality
experience, even at the keyword level. Poor query-ad-landing page is also a
measure of poor relevance that will inhibit ads from showing up higher in the
listings. “

Microsoft is ready to Hostile or even walk away from the bid to buy yahoo since the 3 week long deadline is almost there. Microsoft has repeatedly said it is not willing to Raise the bid value anymore and are fixed at 31$ per share they are willing to Offer Yahoo.

Yahoo on the other hand has been stubborn to raise the bid Yahoo is probably looking somewhere in the range of 35$ per share.

Microsoft has warned before that they will take the case to the Share holders if yahoo does not accept the bid they are looking for. Analysts suggest a proxy fight is most likely and any tough stance from yahoo is not the best for its future since they don’t have much alternatives.

Adwords conversion tracking improved

Google adwords team have improved their conversion tracking algorithm to have each actions being tracked independently. Before we cannot track actions we set independently now we can setup different actions for the targeted business and track actions and conversions based on that.

Good conversion tracking will lead to best conversions also it will be great to track the different keywords which ones are better converting that way we get an idea on the conversions available for the site. Charged more than advertising bid- happened to you?

Have you ever been charged more than your advertising bid is some cases yes this happens. We did encounter this in some of our client sites. So what causes this after digging deeper we were able to find the mistake in this.

In programme like MSN ADcenter PPC we have 2 options where we can set separate bids for content PPC as well as the ad group. So sometimes the ad group will override content bid and this could cause a higher price even more than the bid limit since there are 2 different bids involved. Make sure you check this before searching for solutions.

Check to see if the bid optimizer is causing any problems

Make sure if you have your preferred position as 1 0r 2 sometimes this may override your max bid,
