Google Spreadsheets is up with its newest application to use called GData API. Its library allows programs to use Google products even outside Google environment. According to Google, with this new Spreadsheets API you'll be able to:

• view spreadsheets
• edit/delete content in spreadsheets
• request a list of existing spreadsheets
• query a spreadsheet's content
