Australia’s second largest telco, Optus, says Yahoo! Search would from now on power search requests from OptusNet users.<\/p>\n

Optus said that under an agreement signed with Yahoo! Australia and New Zealand, Yahoo! Search Technology would power web search results on the OptusNet dialup and broadband portals.<\/p>\n

The telco said the agreement ended its three-year relationship with Sensis\/Looksmart.<\/p>\n

It said that each month there were four million search requests from OptusNet users.<\/p>\n
