I agree with tomslick, SEO is part of SEM,<\/p>\n

SEM IMO consists of,<\/p>\n

1. SEO<\/p>\n

2. PPC<\/p>\n

3. PFI ( Optional )<\/p>\n

4. Link Building<\/p>\n

5. Affiliate SE Marketing<\/p>\n

6. ROI and conversion tracking<\/p>\n

7. Sponsored Search engine listing(some search engines).<\/p>\n

8. Shopping feeds ( shopping search engines )<\/p>\n

SEO – Search Engine Optimization, Ability to improve a site to make it relevant to Search Engine Algorithm and make the algorithm rank a site based on User queries.<\/p>\n
