Biomimicry is based on the idea that nature, in its millions of years of evolution, has already developed many effective solutions to the problems that a designer faces. Instead of reinventing the wheel, biomimicry borrows from nature\u2019s successes and applies them to the design of products and services. The purpose of bringing biomimicry to a UX design is to create a design that works in harmony with the environment and with the user\u2019s needs. By understanding how the natural systems that make up a product or service works, designers can create designs that are more intuitive, user-friendly, and cost-effective.
