Blue Dot bookmarking system:,

Tuesday, June 3, 2008

Much like del.icio.us, it adds a simple button to your browser's tool bar that allows you to 'Dot this' websites, which in turn opens up a dialogue box in your browser window. You can now select any image from the page as a thumbnail and add any notes and tags before choosing to share your record with a selected group, or the entire world.

What sets it apart?

It makes social bookmarking personal, making it a grand tool for online collaboration, where teams might want to share confidential thoughts with one another about web content, rather than with the entire world

The aptitude to capture images from the site which serve up as a thumbnail for your bookmark access adds a visual dimension to the bookmarking experiences

Bookmarks can be shared with only individuals, sub-groups and groups, or the entire world, which offers a grainy dimension to networked sharing.
