Matt Marlon was the CEO was the infamous SEO company which made news when Google penalized their site and their client sites for using deceptive tactics. After the fall of Traffic power Matt has tried running his business in various other names like First Place , Tech Power, Tech traffic, Search engine power etc. It seems now his latest company name is toprankweb.com , according to his former employee's website "www.mattmarlon.info". He seems to be running most of his business from Egypt and very less work in Las Vegas Nevada his home town. It seems his Newest "Brand" is now toprankweb.com supposedly in Salem, Oregon, but really in Las Vegas, NV
i thought he is in Las Vegas but Matt cutts reported here that Matt Marlon is in Jail for Home foreclosure fraud. Matt wrote beautifully that if people are doing one type of scam most probably they are fully into major scamming in all businesses. This became true in case of Matt marlon. So where is he now is he still in Jail?

Matt Marlon is in Las Vegas where he is scamming yet again. His new company is called Internet-Focus, formerly Elite Web, and believe it or not, he is doing almost the same thing he had been doing at Traffic Power but this time with the local search on Google. He is using fake addresses to get clients higher placement on the map. Clients have no idea that these types of techniques could cause problems for them with Google. I did quite a bit of work for Matt and was not compensated for it. He is trash. Just a pure to the core scumbag. Internet-Focus is yet another scam operation run by Matt Marlon. I wish I knew how to contact Google and let them know what he is up to again. Anyone know how?
I got a phone call from a salesman promising me first-page listing within 2 weeks on Google Maps in my area for a certain keyword. Paid my money and 3 months later, Matt Marlon refuses to refund my money. Having to go thru my credit card company for a chargeback.
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY. They do not stand behind their guarantees and their services are not producing results.
Looks like they're doing business as Internet-Focus (internet-focus.com), Elite Web or Elite Web Designs, and even searchtheyellowpages.com.
The same company (Internet Focus) contacted me as well promising the same things, I have posted a discussion in LinkedIn, and everybody was saying it's a scam. Thank you everyone for your help!
I don't know the guy from Adam but Internet-Focus got me where I needed to be. It is advertising. Advertising sales people will say almost anything to get you on board. When I signed up it took a while to get decent placement but within 3 months I had calls coming in about 35 per month I think. The salesman called me. He was with another company and said he could do the same thing even better for less money so I switched. Two months later I SWITCHED BACK to Internet-Focus because they actually did what they promised and the calls are back and so are the jobs! Sorry that some feel misled but I have to stay with the company that makes it work no matter how they got me there.
