Tips to Develop You’re Writing Skills

Writing regularly will definitely help you develop your skills; many writers actually work early mornings to write better. Many set aside at least one hour a day to write; writers write as long as they could until they have completed a couple of pages. Have a goal of writing minimum of two paragraphs everyday, so that you will end up writing about hundred pages in a year!
Join a writer’s group where you can discuss about your work with the group members; motivating yourself and you may even contribute your ideas during the group’s meeting. And you will be happy to know that you are not alone with your creative struggles. If you’re not able to find a local group, try posting notices at a public library or at the local community center.
This is an old technique; write something on what you know or care about or a cause which like to support. When you write such things, you will end up more creative. Writing letters to the editor is a great way to practice, but keep the letter short and crisp.
Talking of published writers, one good way to sharpen your skills is to try mimicking those writers whom you admire. Research their style of writing and see what kind of words they use. Once you’re ready to publish or submit your work, understand that not all publishers will publish your work. If you want to find a publisher, refer books at your local public library or bookstore.

I can't believe you misspell a word right in the headline! It should be "your, not "you're"!!
