MSN creates history in Profitable Search Marketshare,

MSN creates gains in a minor rate. But the remarkable thing is that the profits are against the profit rates of Google and Yahoo. This must be an exciting rise to the whole of Redmond as this small but powerful victory has come across their path after years together. The Good news to the MSN has come from the ComScore results which reveal that Google has a drop of 1.2% and Yahoo drops down at 1.3%. MSN gains at 2.9% rising. Microsoft Sites has got an amazing experience with a noteworthy increase in search query volume, up 36 percent and search market share as told already.

Google Maps for flood updates, Wednesday, July 25, 2007

A powerful online tool is something which contains a lot of information and in which data can be shared in a large quantity. For situations like in England, where floods are in a higher pace, Maps are bigger tools can help people in a very constructive way. Google maps are instrumental in flood updates as it is the first tool, which covered the entire country and the whole map gives more information. This helps the people to be alert, and this initiative is by Ollie Williams of BBC Berkshire who bounded Ed Parsons - formerly of Ordnance Survey and now a geospatial technologist at Google. This has helped the people in many ways.

Yahoo Japan leaps higher with net profits rate,

It is the time for Yahoo-Japan's members to shout out 'Yahoo'. The net profit leaps aren't new to the corporation but Yahoo-Japan hasn't come across a jump in net profit like this. Yahoo Japan Corp. in its report said that the monetary first-quarter group net profit bounded 23%. This was due to a lot of positive changes and programmes by the corp. itself. The revenue has drastically increased from its areas of advertising, real-estate and auction businesses. The Tokyo Internet-service affiliate of Softbank Corp. reported that the net profit in the quarter end rose to $133.7 million from less than the value a year before, while group revenue climbed 15%, whereas Operating profit grew 24%.

Yahoo honors a bud,

A young girl in Topeka is honored by Yahoo for her concern and the care for the fellow human beings and environment. Jaide Ramirez-Jennings is a girl from Topeka who started her philanthropy at the age of five. She started her KICKs (Kids in Care of Kids) at the age of 5 encouraged by her parents. She showed her concern to the environment by selling 900 re-usable bags and that formed a great deal. Amazed Yahoo gave her the "Purple Act of Kindness" award and had her photo all the day. It is good that these nascent philanthropists are encouraged.

Google bids billions on FCC's spectrum, Tuesday, July 24, 2007

700 MHz spectrum by FCC must mean a good deal to Google in a way that it has decided to bid at least $4.6bn on it for the FCC's forthcoming auction. However, Google will pay the prescribed and proposed amount only when the Federal Communications Commission agrees to a few conditions. The conditions are wide and they are

  • The wireless spectrum allowing consumers to download and use any software applications.

  • It also essentially means that they can use any content they want.

  • The wireless spectrum must allow handhelds to be used with any carrier.

  • The spectrum enabling resellers to acquire wireless services at wholesale costs; leading to the interconnection at any point on the 700 megahertz band.
The letter from Google CEO Eric Schmidt to the FCC President Kevin Martin had all the necessary deals and information.
