Lately lot of vulnerable blogs are compromised and hidden links are added to the blog. Some of the hidden links are pointing to porn sites or some of them are so vulnerable that when the page loads those links will call some malicious scumware or malware.
Especially word press older versions had these problems . Latest word press versions are well patched and dont have these vulnerabilities. Google’s automated detection has a built in notification system where if a vulnerability for a site is detected the site owner is notified to the email listed on their site. Also in certain cases Google will remove the pages from search engine index for 30 days and the site owner needs to clean the website and submit for reinclusion.
So i recommend keep checking your blogs often and don’t leave it unattended it will look to your site being totally removed from search engine results.
Anabolic steroids – nutritional supplement sites blocked in Google Adwords
Google AdWords has started blocking Ads related to Nutritional supplements and vitamin supplements from their AdWords sponsored results. Google’s new policy is very tough on sites promoting Nutritional supplements they say sites promoting Anabolic steroids , muscle enhances, muscle stacking products are banned from their AdWords advertising. Though this sounds like a good option for end users Google will be looking millions of dollars in revenue since these sites spend a lot of money for online advertising.
We run 2 or 3 campaigns in SEO for site promoting nutritional supplement products they are doing moderately well and gains good traffic and Business for those sites. There are people out there who want these products Google is just sacrificing their Business to maintain quality to their AdWords sponsored results it is a very good sign.

Importing Campaigns / Ad groups from Adwords to YSM
Many people have contacted us asking whether there is any easy way to import keywords, campaigns, ad groups from Google Adwords to Yahoo Search Marketing. From my experience currently there are no options for the end users but yahoo’s inhouse YSM experts can add data imported from Google Adwords. But to qualify for this you need to be a privileged user .
To be a YSM privileged user you need to have a minimum Ad spend of 6000$. If you qualify then Yahoo’s inhouse search marketing experts will add the campaigns imported from Adwords into the YSM control panel.
MSN adcenter already has an option for end users but Yahoo Search Marketing don’t have such an option . So of you are thinking of importing data from adwords and adding it to YSM currently its not possible,

I am sure if you used Adwords before you should have definitely used Google analytics. Google analytics is google hosted version of Urchin a popular Analytics software which Google acquired few years back. Competitor keywords bidding is worth the effort and risk,
There are lot of advantages on bidding on your competitor keywords. Bidding on the competition’s keywords will give an immediate targeted exposure especially for new websites. New websites find it difficult to make profits from PPC since most of the ads they participate will be costly and they need to pay a hefty amount for it. Bidding on competitor keywords will make that job much easier.
Though Google has a tough stance on bidding on competitor’s keywords especially keywords that are Trademarked by the competitor still they don’t deny a good user experience. If they feel some thing is good for their users they don’t hesitate to do it. As per their policy if a user is satisfied seeing a competitor ad then mostly they allow it. I have personally experienced this when we advertise with Google PPC.
You can also enable benchmarking service for adwords which will allow you to compare your site with competitors.

Pay Per Click costs – Yahoo Search Marketing Vs Google Adwords
Recently we had a comparison report prepared by our team on which pay per click programme charges more Yahoo Search Marketing and Google Adwords.
From our research Google is twice more costly and requires more budget than Yahoo Search Marketing.
We took 10 different topics auto transport, car insurance, mesothelioma, digital cameras, plasma TV, home loans, conference call, call center software, online advertising.
Under each topic we selected 10 related keywords and ran a test campaign on both Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing. We tried bidding the highest just for 10 clicks. We got the top position in both Search engines for the keywords advertised. For each keyword we were able to spend for 3 clicks.
Results we got for Google top spot for these keywords is like the ad runs out in no time for the maximum click we get the 3 test clicks in few minutes for almost all the keywords. Cost of some keywords ranged from 7$ to 35$ per click.
For yahoo the same ads displayed on top position due to maximum bidding cost us in range from 10$ to 21$ also the ads took more time to get exhausted. From our testing Google adwords is more costly and active and Yahoo search marketing advertising is a bit slow. Google Adwords is atleast double the price of Yahoo Search Marketing.
