Google Product Search was launched in Beta on December 12, 2002. Google Product Search is a new service from Google that makes it easy to find information about products for sale online. Now there is no need for your customers to browse the entire web looking for a specific item. They can just go to froogle and all the items available for sale will be listed there.
Google Product Search indexes specific products from a multitude of e-commerce sites on the web. The search results include a picture of the item for sale (if available), the price of the item, the store where the item is for sale, the category, and a brief description grabbed from the store's site.
