They intended to use this search engine as part of their Live Search services to catch up with Google. It was officially integrated with Bing in May 22nd 2008. Bing started using this feature to help its users to receive cashbacks instantly and not wait for 60 days. This feature worked in conjunction with eBay.
On April 14th 2009 Microsoft merged CashBack with live search products and in the same year as of June 3rd as a part of rebranding the feature was renamed as “Bing CashBack”. As of June 4th 2010 Microsoft withdrew this feature due to lack of interest and other losses and it officially went out on July 30th 2010.

Generating Bing Shopping Data Feed :

Feed Requirements : Data feeds generated by ProductCart must meet the Bing Shopping data feed requirements as of September 2010.

Must Do : You ought to FTP an updated data feed every 30 days or less. ProductCart does not update it automatically. This is something that is quite mandatory. Must upload a new data feed whenever product information changes. The filename should always be saved as “bingshopping.txt”.
