Pittsburgh Google office opens
Google had officially opened its Pittsburgh engineering office at Google Pittsburgh on November 17.
This office is situated in the lower part of Collaborative Innovation Center, it’s a four story building constructed in 2005 to give place and lab space for businesses for collaborating purpose with Carnegie Mellon. The purpose of the recent renovations was just to customize the space in Google’s requirements.

Google is up with its new software applications in kindergarten through high school classrooms, where kids who have knowledge with web are more likely to experiment with different technology.

According to a source Google would test the box with business that is between its Mountain View WiFi mesh coverage areas.

Google Spreadsheets API now available
Google Spreadsheets is up with its newest application to use called GData API. Its library allows programs to use Google products even outside Google environment. According to Google, with this new Spreadsheets API you’ll be able to:
- view spreadsheets
- edit/delete content in spreadsheets
- request a list of existing spreadsheets
- query a spreadsheet’s content
Nokia Partners with Yahoo on New Mobile Services
Mobile handset maker Nokia stated this Wednesday that it has extended its partnership with Yahoo to include the search giant’s services on a few selected set of Nokia phones.
The company would also begin rolling out the new Yahoo options with the Nokia 6300, 5200, and 5300 XpressMusic phones. The handsets would let users synchronize Yahoo available contacts, tasks, and calendar items, and will also connect to Yahoo Mail and Messenger.
Yahoo launches Mobile Social Networking Service
Yahoo had recently launched an experimental site, which offers mobile phone subscribers the power to send any text messages and also share videos and pictures with their friends. The service of Yahoo still follows the trend among Internet portals to offer mobile social networking services.
The service is basically centered on making it easy for friends group to use text messaging as a way to organize a party, meet in a restaurant, attend a football game or may be to arrange any other social activity.
