When Myspace and Facebook were first generated no one thought that they would actually become as accepted as they are today. Social Networking could be the thing of the future. It is a way to unite with people from around the world and a way to promote the things you do and as well sell. Yahoo! And Google are now feeling little out of market – which is why they are taking steps to upgrade the way they do things.

They are both changing their e-mails and generating a social graph (the connection between the different people). Yahoo is working on things that are identified as Inbox 2.0 – which would leverage the data that is being gathered into the e-mail accounts as well as the user’s personal homepage.
