Google Begins Open Source Hosting Center
Recently, google has proclaimed that it will add a new feature to its services, i.e. open source project hosting. The latest site goes up against the most admired and popular source project hosting sites, including SourceForge.net. The novel service offers software storeroom and debugging amenities. On July 31 Google proclaimed the launch of a developer’s site to host open source projects.
According to the reports, this service of google is not yet ready and it is on the process for production use. This offer will surely become a popular with developers because it integrates with Google Groups, Gmail, Google Talk and other services.
