Google launches Blogger update beta
Google has recently upgraded its Blogger web publishing tool to offer new features. The revamped version is now in beta and its release is being restricted to selected members only, these members with existing blogs on the system will see a link in their Blogger “Dashboard” inviting them to visit the new system. They also have an option to access its enhanced features by registering for an account directly from the beta version.
The attracting re-launched Blogger comprise the ability to categorize posts with labels, control who could view a blog and change the look of a blog without having to delve into the underlying HTML. Blogger accounts are now incorporated with Google Accounts, which could be applied separately or are linked with Gmail addresses.
“You’ve been asking for ways to do more with your blog, and you can with this new release,” said Jason Goldman, a product manager at Google, announcing the beta on the Blogger Buzz blog.
