Google has announced the free accessibility of another one of its Google Labs projects-one that is targeted to improve effectiveness in reading content on the web. The new-look news website, Google Fast Flip, will collect content from more than 40 publishers and aims to make reading articles online experience a more appealing and an interesting one. Google Fast Flip presents online news content in visual magazine format for simple browsing and speedy scanning, the manner in which people read when they have print media in front of them.

Fast flip is provided with 4 rows of content , “Sections”, “Sources “, “Popular “, “Topics “.Each of these sections are further divided into a tabular format.Clicking on any of the tabs will produce the relevant results.

If you click on an interesting item you found on the list,you will be directed to a large image ,with a navigation device on the side to conveniently scroll either to the next or previous article.We clicked the Tech Crunch News, and we were directed to the following screen.

Google Fast Flip will bring about revenue for publishers and reproduces the magazine reading experience online.Revenue collected from the ads(see picture) appearing alongside the article will be split between Google and the relevant publisher, with content providers taking the major part of the revenue.

Josh Cohen, a business product manager at Google, stated that Fast Flip, will collect content from numerous US websites, newspapers and magazines that have opted in to the service, including the New York Times, the Washington Post and Newsweek. Cohen mentioned that this latest news website was one of numerous different experiments Google was working on with publishers to increase the online audience, engage readers more deeply, and make more money for all parties.
