Yahoo Instant Messaging Gets Plug-In from WebEx

Santa Clara, California – WebEx, provider of businesses applications on-demand had developed a new plug-in for search engine, Yahoo Messenger! designed to enable instant messaging users to “co-browse” and view websites on same time. The free plug-in provides the ability for online shopping, party planning and picture viewing. The new WebEx co-browsing plug in could be easily assessed from Plug-in Picker within the Yahoo!

With the free plug-in, Yahoo! Messenger opened up its platform for third party developers to make add-on applications for further personalizing the end user’s experience. WebEx developed the co-browsing plug in for the purpose of enabling Yahoo! Messenger’s global users to interact during live web searches. WebEx provides on-demand collaborative applications to individuals, small businesses and for enterprise organizations.

WebEx is currently based in Santa Clara, California and has regional headquarters in Europe, Asia and Australia.
