Google boosts Online News Index

In a bid to discover new sales channels for long-established media, Google Inc. will enlarge its online news directory to take in historical news stories. According to the Associated Press report, the news records encompasses previous articles published in The New YorkTimes, The Wall Street Journal, Time magazine and The Washington Post.

We may start video service in Japan: Google

Google Inc. the globe’s greatest Web search engine, said on Sept 7 it was looking for partners to put in contents for a video service in Japan. Google Japan’s President Norio Murakami said video was the subsequent step for Google in Japan, following the company’s online news and book searches.
