Wikia Search is a new site supposed to be launched on 7th January 2008. According to Wikia Search creator the searching topics would be able to rank in search engines results using open-source software consecutively to get better the filtering of search engine results. The plan is to bring up simplicity into the search engine process. On the other hand Google followers argue it would permit humans to stage-manage the entire search process and that computer produced results are the quite a way to offer people with information.

Wikia Search could now threaten Google’s domination but the new group of people driven search engine would certainly take time to develop, just as Wikipedia took time to upsurge its entries.
